I have a bug to report
We’re sorry to hear you’re having issues. To give each of us the best chance of a positive outcome, we ask that you provide us with as much information as possible when reporting bugs.
Example of an unhelpful bug report that is unlikely to be fixed:
“The app is broken!”
Example of a helpful bug report that is likely to be looked at:
“I’m using the Galaxy S8 running Android 7.0. When I swipe to hide the navigation bar, Action Launcher’s all apps drawer displays at the wrong height. See the attached screenshot/screen recording which demonstrates the problem.”
Including a screen recording video in your bug report gives us the best chance of understanding exactly what’s happening, and is the single best way to ensure your bug is addressed. Obviously this takes a bit of effort on your part, but before we can fix your bug, we have to reproduce your issue on one of our devices, which is not always easy on Android. There are many screen recorder apps in the Play Store (we’ve had success with “Screen Recorder”) which simplify the process recording you interacting with your phone.
